Connor went to the doctor last week and they said he had strep. Well now it looks like he might be allergic to the mess the gave him... We'll find out for sure in a few minutes.

Just  little demoing... nothing too extensive, but hoping it will make a big difference in the overall look...

Well, the red wall is now primed and ready to be painted "Vintage Gray", and the beadboard is up on one wall.  Next is calking the seams, putting up beadboad on the other 2 walls, crown molding and baseboards, paint the walls, paint the ceiling, new faucet for the sink, and eventually paint the cupboards...

So the Kitchen renovation has begun... I'm sure Cheryl will update with a complete blog post when we are done, but here is a picture of Connor doing his part... This is all going to be covered up, so why not let him leave his mark...

So after taking Connor to the doctor to find out he had strep we braved the cold and wind to get to Target for the meds... I was trying to get a picture of the snow blowing, but it doesn't show up too well in pics...

I originally was hoping to upload a video of the drive through the snow, but that doesn't seem to want to work...

Yes, it is only 3 days after Valentines day... Yes, it is still the middle of February... No, it isn't even close to St. Patricks day yet... Yes, those are jelly beans...

If anything bugs me more than terrible drivers, it's skipping holidays to make more money... Ughhhhhhhh...

As much as I'm ready for winter to be over, and as much as I hate shoveling and snow blowing the driveway, I do love the way the trees, fields and roads look covered with a fresh clean coating of snow...

Well, I missed a day yesterday... whoops... anyway, I got a new toy at work today.  A MOBI board that will allow me to interact with my computer similar to a SMART board.  I was also able to get the SMART software installed on my computer so this should make class a little more fun...

We were doing a lab in school today testing to see which foods contained fats, protein or carbohydrates... the kids really enjoyed it, and I think they may have learned something...  for once the effort I put into designing a lab paid off...
